Session 1

(1) According to the article, what takes part in determining a person's attractiveness?

(2) Do you find any celebrities attractive who are not physically appealing? Do you think their attractiveness to you comes from their personalities?

(3) Have you ever tried to enhance your attractiveness? Do you make such attempts by improving your appearance or personal attributes?

Now I learned what The Halo Effect is.
"When you decide whether you like someone, ask yourself whether the halo effect is operating."

Indeed, we are not sure if his(her) true personality is like his(her) appearance.
Maybe he(she) tries to appear considerate, integrity, loyal or other positive traits.
After getting married, you might be very surprised to find that your lover isn't totally like original one. That will be really worst!
No wonder it is said that love not at the first look.

After all, a right partner will make you feel that you live in the heaven, a wrong partner will make you feel that you live in the hell.
