Topic Discussion Article: Internet will make you smart or dumb? (文章)
Questions for Discussion:
Session 1
1. How do you define or characterize a "smart" or "genius" person?
2. Who do you think is a living genius, in the arts or other fields? Is there someone you can think of who is very smart, but emotionally stupid? Do you know anyone who is wise?
3. How do people at your work use the Internet, and what is your main purpose of using the Internet?
Session 2
4. How often do you surf the Internet and which online sites do you use the most? Do you agree the Internet makes you smarter as the article suggests? Why or why not? Do you think human beings are dumber because of technology in general?
5. In your opinion, what is the main disadvantage of the Internet? Do you think we are too reliant on Google? Does Google allow us to be more informed?
6. Do you think people overuse the Internet and are you addicted?
