U.S. Seeks New Limits on Food Ads for Children

Questions for Discussion:
1. Does the government in Taiwan has restrictions to limit the Ads or commercials for children and teenagers? Do you think the restrictions are needful? Do you advocate it? Why or why not?
2. Besides unhealthful foods, we still have lots of toxic toys in the marketplace, and most of them (toxic foods and toys) are from Mainland China or other developing countries. Will you buy your kids toys or foods that from those countries? Why or why not?
3. We are now in a fast-food store, please tell the members what you ordered today. While you order the food or beverage, what is your chief consideration? Health, deliciousness or other reasons?
4. There are many organic food shop in Taiwan, have you ever bought foods in that kind of shop? Do you think that foods in organic food shop are more healthful than traditional shop? Please share your experience.
5. According to a research, one out of 4 men in Taiwan suffers from cancer.
