1. According the article, Karr explored alternative therapies, including massage and meditation, and even spent time in a Zen monastery. If your families or friends have cancer and choose alternative therapies, will you support them? Why?
2. Karr mentioned she chose her doctor who has not only has the medical credential, but also kind and copmasionate. How do you choose a good doctor?
3. What reasons or what kind of attitudes cause Karr can live with cancer?
4. The number of cancer patients are increasing recetnly. Do you worry about that? And what do you do to reduce your cancer risk?
