20160507, Gathering, Tainan Happy English Club


Gathering on May 7, 2016:

Today we’re supposed to be at Erick Coffee for our gathering. Unfortunately, it was closed unexpectedly. But we were lucky enough to have Samantha, providing her place to save us from this embarrassing situation. She also introduced rich collections from her traveling for us to broaden our horizons. Let’s appreciate Samantha’s generosity.

Besides Samantha’s participation, Happy, Grace, Cherry, Joseph, Ken, and Becky joined this gathering. After sharing some news, we played a game by Ken(it’s me). Two people, as a team, wrote down three sentences, each of which described one personal experience. For these three personal experiences, one is only one of two people in the team did this before, one is both of them did this before, and the rest is none of them did this before. After picking up one of the sentences blindly, the two people in this team, like an actor or actress, need to say a story according to this sentence to prove he or she did (or never did) this before, respectively. Other teams need to guess the correct answers. Everyone’s stories and performances were interesting and great so that it was hard to tell which is a truth or a lie. I was supposed to post the pictures for these stories, but I forgot about it. Sorry about this. Hope you enjoyed this game.

Scientists have discovered some secrets about these questions through their studies. Thanks for the article discussion hosted by Happy, we learned a lot.

After the gathering, Grace, Happy, Ken, and Joseph had a dinner together at the vegetarian restaurant, 綠素界. We enjoyed the tasty dishes and was relaxing there while talking about many things. I hope everyone have a good time this weekend.
