Questions:
1.You might've seen some fallacies used by politicians, pundits or anyone, What is the most common or annoying fallacy for you?
2. Logical thinking is important. That's why we exam children's IQ in school, What are the other capabilities or properties like EQ, patience, empathy...etc. , If let you rank them, what will they look like? Share your opinion.
3. It seems using fallacies is inevitable. Literally there are hundreds knowing fallacies. Will you apply them to weaken others' arguments? Or will you empathize with those who used fallacies because we might unintentionally use them? There is no dichotomy. And Any answers would be OK.
4. Some studies have shown that engaging in logical thinking is unpleasant(e.g. to solve 2 digit multiplication in mind). And the longer you engaged the worse it will be. In your experiences what are the better ways to keep yourself or others in logical thinking? Some studies with wrong argument are appeal to authority. You could have your own assumptions which differ from those studies.
5. Have you been convinced by books, speeches, movies or something recently? What are the main characteristics that convinced you? On the other hand, why did that fail to convince you?
