Session 1
1. What do you think are the causes attributing to those tragic acts happened in China’s kid schools recently?
Why were they all happened in such a short span of time, the acts of copycat?
2. Do you think the Chinese government’s solution in dealing with this problem by heightening the security measures around the kid schools’ premises and censoring the news from broadcasting nationwide will be effective? Are there other
solutions?
3. Comparing these tragic school killings in China to the same as tragic school shootings in America, what are the
similarities and what are the differences?
Session 2
4. Do you think that the roots of societal problems beneath the tragic events in China also exist in Taiwan’s society? If so, what are they (the roots), and in what forms these tragic events do happen in Taiwan’s society?
5. What are your solutions to the tragic events happened in Taiwan that are identified in question 4?
6. Will you take part in providing these solutions now, or one day? How are you going to do with them?
