Questions for Discussion:
Session 1
1. Do you love watching or talking about movies? When was the last time you went to the cinema? What was your favorite movie this year? What was your favorite of all time? Why do you love these particular films?
2. Do you often watch a movie at home? When do you prefer seeing a movie at home, and when do you prefer going to the cinema?
3. Global box-office receipts have risen since 2005, even during the recession. Did you go to the cinema more during the recession? Why or why not?

4. What is driving the cinema boom, according to this article? Do you think this trend will persist? Why?
5. Are you willing to pay a higher price for a 3D film or an IMAX film? If yes, by what amount are you willing to pay? Are you going to buy some 3D equipment for your TV or PC? Why or why not?
