Topic Discussion Article: Eight Hong Kong tourists killed in Philippine bus hijacking (文章)
Questions for Discussion:
Session 1
1. What is your preferred way of traveling? Do you like traveling in a group or do you like to travel by yourself? Why? Do you think the tragic results of the Manila hostage crisis should have been prevented?
2. Do you think traveling in developed countries is safer than in developing or 3rd world countries? Why or why not? Please share with us some close calls with danger during your travels.
3. Which countries have you been to before? Please share your most memorable experiences briefly.

4. What nations or cities would you like to go to most in the future? Please specify your reasons in detail.
5. Besides safety, what are the important considerations for you during your trip? After what happened last month, would you still visit the Philippines in the future?
6. Do you often watch travel TV programs? How much weight do you place on the information offered by these programs, and is the info valuable for people who have never been to the places in the programs?

6. Highly discouraged in venue: speaking Chinese and forcing your views on politics/racism/religion/sex
7. Feel free to attend our weekly dinner after gathering
8. Feel free to join our many outings
