Topic Discussion Article: Are Women Better Leaders Than Men? (文章)
Questions for Discussion:
Session 1
Q1: Is leadership gender neutral, or does gender matter? Please share your opinions
Q2: Are men better than women in leadership attributes in theory?
In practical, do you think of any reasons which intervene women become better leaders? Please give us your comments for the argument.
Q3: What kind of personalities/requirements should a quaified leader own? Please share your one example in your life.
Session 2
Q4: Have you ever seen the film "The Devil Wears Parda"?
The story is talking about a naive young woman who comes to New York and scores a job as the assistant to one of the city's biggest magazine editors; she meets the ruthless and cynical Miranda Priestly. Then the story is continuing from the point. Does a good manager/boss mean a good leader? How do you cooperate with the boss who is like the actress-Miranda plays in the film?
Q5: Is your boss a male or female? How does he/she lead your team?
Q6: In traditional family values, women are trained to take more attention in her households. Men should be focus on his own business/career.
Do you think that it may decrease women to become good leaders? Or do you think that women just transfer their own leadership from business to their own family?
