Topic Discussion Article: Gas prices keeping Americans closer to home for summer trips (文章)
Questions:
Session 1
1. Do you agree with "If you feel less secure about your future, you may be less willing to take the trip."? Will you be kept home because of the recession? Did you change your traveling plan or cut down your traveling budget due to the economy?
2. Have you ever stayed in the hostels or pensions? Will you still be willing to stay in the youth hostels while traveling around by the time you are elderly, i.e. you are in your forties or fifties.
3. Please share with us if you have ever had any budget trips which were unforgettable. Where were you and what did you experience?
Session 2
As we all know, relaxation is an important way to stay healthy so let's think about what we expect to get from the traveling despite the recession issues.
1. Do you urge to visit every "must-go" attractions while traveling? How does your traveling usually go?
2. Does your traveling become differently as time goes by? For instance, you probably enjoyed the adventure trip before but you might prefer having a pure sightseeing trip these years. We encourage you to bring a few photos or postcards to share with your table mates about your traveling stories?
3. Where are your next stops for vacations? What do those countries or places attract you to go?
