How to Take Better Notes
Source:

http://www.wikihow.com/Take-Better-Notes

Questions:
1. Some people use different colors, post-it notes, different front sizes, sequence orders or locations on a sheet to arrange their notes. How do you classify your notes? How many hours a week do you organize collective information on your notes?

2. We have notes on our professional development guidance, daily routines and activities, and study and life. What kind of materials, quotes, pictures or data do you collect and keep notes when you were a student or when you are at your current job? Why do you like to collect these materials?

3. Do you carry a notepad with you at all times? Do you like to jot good things down on your notepad, tear newspaper or magazine or take a picture to collect inspiration? How would you collect good ideas?

4. Notes are your treasure map and remind you what’s important in work or life. How do you organize your thoughts and ideas with your notes? What conclusions can you draw? What do you want to learn from your notes?

5. Besides the notes we mention above, do you have the habit to keep a diary, photo albums, accounting records, cooking recipes, sketches, a health diary or a vocabulary notebook? Or what kind of materials do you want to collect in the future?

Dear Taichung Happiers,

The article for this weekend is to let our members to share their own secrets of note-taking in English. We spend much of our time to take notes in class or in meeting. But no one teaches us how to keep good notes! Taking better notes can help us to rearrange our thoughts and come up with some good ideas.

A good note-taking can help us learn new skills and get thing done more efficiently. Due to knowledge base economy, today's employees are spending more time on studying and collecting useful materials for their company. A good note taking skill can help you at the top of the game. We also know some successful people keep, review and revise their own notes. But very few people know the secrets of those people how to keep good notes. If you have good note-taking skills, you are definitely somebody or to be somebody in the future.

Maybe you are a good photographer, chef, or artist. You have your own way to keep your notes. Please also share your alternative methods with us. Maybe you have some new plans to do in the future. But the first step is to collect materials and take notes.

Have a nice week, Kevin :D
