Dear Taichung Happiers,

What is the color of your mother’s cooking? Dusty B. (a writer younger than we can imagine) got the answer “Love”:

“It tastes like a
rainbow of flavors,

sounds like
the clanging of affection between two pans,

smells like
sweet roses arranged with care

looks like a
diversity of colors, textures, and shapes,

feels like a
warm, gentle massage for my palate and stomach,

And fills me with peaceful satisfaction.”

What have you been cooking recently? Considering cooking as an inspiring art, our host Kevin invites Happiers to share the incredible journey, which we took our taste buds on. Also, let us be gratified to introduce our favorite dishes that our mothers (or ourselves) have done with care and love. Surely enough, it will be more eye-opening, if Happiers’ mothers can join us to illustrate more.

Julia Child, an award-winning American chef and author, had never been afraid of deficiency: “The only real stumbling block is fear of failure. In cooking, you've got to have a what-the-hell attitude.” Yes. We need no more tips than this. In addition, I have tried cooking while travelling, which did give me the distinct impression. Now, what is for your Friday dinner? How about cooking, singing, and dancing at one time?
