Slow down and try your best to do a close reading. Why? For American journalist Flora Lewis (29 July 1922—June 2, 2002) pointed out “Learning another language is not only learning different words for the same things, but learning another way to think about things.” However, it is not that we lack patience; it is that the culture barriers we encounter while doing a close reading trouble us the most.
