Taichung Happy English Club’s gathering on October 10th has been cancelled due to the Double Tenth Day long weekend.
Except for “play hard and eat harder”, I would love to recommend two bowls of soul soup I have enjoyed recently. Reading the first few pages of this book created my impulse to skip that afternoon’s dancing class--“Run, Boy, Run” is a true story by Uri Orlev (English translation by Hillel Halkin)--finishing this book encourages my belief that reading good novels is the best way to learn empathy. The other one is a film I want to make time to watch again ASAP—National Gallery. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yu7b-jGANr8
