Dear Taichung Happiers,

Q: What superhero uses public transportation?
A: Bus Lightyear!

“Transportation is the center of the world! It is the glue of our daily lives. When it goes well, we don't see it. When it goes wrong, it negatively colors our day, makes us feel angry and impotent, curtails our possibilities.” Do you agree with this statement issued by Robin Chase, co-founder and former CEO of Zipcar? As technology has been well applied to the collective consumption concept, the population experiencing the Sharing Economy, including shared transport, is growing dramatically fast. So, ladies and gentlemen, let’s join our host Joey in spending a sweet Saturday afternoon with great companions and shaping splendid ideas about Uber!

What story happening in a taxi is most related to your daily life? Having witnessed how a doctor son honors his taxi-driver father, I am also bewitched by this incredible true story.

Check this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCU8vpSeBtM Moreover, except for more convenience and lower costs, what side of shared transport can steal our hearts and soften the conflict between technology and humanity? If you prefer to drive by yourself, what is your driving style like? http://www.playbuzz.com/joshwhite10/what-nationality-is-your-driving-like

“Taxi” by Elise Paschen

Why don't we cruise
Times Square at noon
enjoy the jam
I'm not immune
to your deft charm
in one stalled car
I'd like to take
you as you are

Facilitated by technology, the networking side of the Sharing Economy is encouraging people’s creative thinking and behaviors. Ronald Burt, a Professor of Sociology and Strategy, admonishes people “Instead of better glasses, your network gives you better eyes.” The experience of connecting people and belonging to the sharing community not only opens our eyes but also inspires further possibilities, such as the improvement of health service
http://www.foxbusiness.com/features/2014/08/12/sharing-economy-invades-health-care-industry.html , tailor-made travel http://www.expatfinder.com/blog/2014/11/8-sharing-economy-apps-for-world-travellers , and even the Uber of Private Plane Travel http://observer.com/2016/02/wheels-up-rushes-to-be-the-uber-of-private-plane-travel/ .

Networking makes the Sharing Economy work; what makes networking more efficient? American political economist Francis Fukuyama points out “this will come about only on the basis of a high level of trust and the existence of shared norms of ethical behavior between network members.” Also, author and speaker Rachel Botsman wrapped up her speech “The new currency of the new economy is trust” with certainty that how trust networks will introduce the power of reputation into our markets and thoughts is beyond our imagination.

Can we call The Sharing Economy art? Transform yourself into a curator--select and organize the art works to have a dynamic balance among technology, management, and rights protection. The best thing about the Sharing Economy is every individual; the best thing about our Club is every Happier. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzS_yyNQESo Join us. Thanks!!!
