20160913, Gathering, Tainan Happy English Club



It was the 1st gathering entering this autumn at Masa Loft. Today, we’re glad to have Grace, Joseph, Becky, and Ken in this meeting. The more exiting thing is we had three pretty young ladies, Mary, Phoebe, and Anna, as newcomers, joining us to enjoy the delighting atmosphere. Anna works for National Tainan University of Arts while living in Chiayi. Phoebe is a worker at Legal Aid Foundation. And Mary is just bravely changing her career from a clinincal nurse in Taiwan to an adventurer pursuing better life in Australia. We appreciated for their sharing with such rich experiences and stories.

How do we make friends as a grown-up? Research shows we're replacing half our close friends every seven years, even into our 60s. Making friends is just our instinct and needs as human being. Also, making new friends is great, having good friends is even more wonderful. Do you have any BFF? If you have one, please cherish each other because the relationship is precious. Thanks for Grace's host, we got inspired by reading and discussing the article and questions, hope you guys would enjoy today’s activity.

The 2nd gathering this month will be canceled due to the Moon Festival holidays. And the next gathering will be on the 1st of October. We are looking forward to seeing you then.
