We are not learning English only for the language itself. Yes, we are breathing the language; more importantly, we are living in the world. Ralph Waldo Emerson (May 25, 1803 – April 27, 1882), the leading voice of intellectual culture in the United States, simply put “Thought is the blossom; language the bud; action the fruit behind it”. During our language-learning journey, the bud forms a shoot as we are acutely aware of how we interpret the world and interact with it.
