Questions:
1. In your personal life, from the past to the future, as you can imagine, what challenge would test your emotional mettle the most? Why?
2. When turning toward reality, it might help us to grow stronger, will you be brave enough to go through any life challenges no matter what happens? Or just need to turn away at some moment to avoid tasting your bitter life?
3. If life journey is like an Olympic game for you, would it be a marathon, a sprint, a hurdle race, a jumping, a gymnastics or anything else? What strategy would you like to take in it?
4. How do you face your success and failure? Can we have any choices for these? If so, what kinds of choices? If not, why?
5. If life is so short, why do we do so many things that we like and don't like?
6. What we cannot change is our past but what we can change is our thinking which somehow changes our future. Do you agree this statement? Why?
7. Any experiences for telling us about you enjoying challenges in life?

20161001, Gathering, Tainan Happy English Club



It was the gathering after two violent typhoons raging Tainan last month. We hope all you guys stay safe. Today, we’re glad to have Grace, Joseph, Becky, Cherry, Amber and Ken joining this meeting under the weather like this.
We shared about how we went through these storms and heavy rains. There're some damage on our houses and environment. Hopely, everyone can get recover as soon as possible.
In personal life, from the past to the future, as you can imagine, what challenge would test your emotional mettle the most? Is it a injury, a illness, unemployment, grief, divorce, death, or even a new venture with an unknown future? Maybe you have some tips or experiences for telling us about you enjoying challenges in life. Hope everyone can get inspired by reading and discussing the article and questions.
