Topic: Be a Great Conversation Starter: Talk to Strangers with Ease

Questions:
1. Let’s play as two strangers, beginning a one-on-one conversation. Then, we can comment later about what we can learn from each companion.

2. Do you think if it’s important to have the skill of starting the conversation with strangers? Please explain why you think so.

3. Are you shy and afraid to talk to strangers? Do you feel comfortable when you attend a wedding party alone and surrounded by strangers? Please give us a similar situation you encountered before and how you coped with it.

4. Any suggestions for being a great conversation starter from your experience?

20170318, Gathering, Tainan Happy English Club


Gathering on Mach 18, 2017:

Flowers blossom when the trees begin to send forth tender buds. It is such a beautiful spring day. Today, we’re glad to have Grace, Cherry, Jason, Amber, Debbie, Tommy, Blithe, and Ken joining this meeting. We also welcome 4 visitors – Angela, Newman, Tony, and Clementine in this gathering! We also welcome Blithe to become our official member of the Tainan Happy English Club today! Thanks for Jason's hosting, and the article about how to be a great conversation starter. It’s quite interesting and useful, particularly for practicing in the scenario simulations. Hope you guys enjoy these!

The next gathering will be on April 1. It’s not a joke! We are looking forward to seeing you then.
