3. How often do you refresh your vocabulary? How many repetitions does it take to memorize a new word? How to use new words?

4. How do you collect new words? And how do you organize new words into meaningful categories? How do you deal with long words? Do you use prefixes, roots and suffixes to help you remember new words?

Raise your hand, if English is your first love. Improving English is in almost every Happier’s list of 2017 New Years’ Resolutions. English is a funny language though. “That explains why we park our car on the driveway and drive our car on the parkway.” Why did German writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (August 28, 1749 – March 22, 1832) immensely insisted “Those who know nothing of foreign languages know nothing of their own”? How to increase our motivation and plan the priorities? Language learning is a lifelong journey; learning is a highly perplexing and personal process; the most effective methods are those deliver you delightful feelings. However, together, by sharing approaches and apprehension, we can turn our struggles into strengths. Can’t wait for our former President Kevin Huang’s hosting again!!!
