Travel the seas within ourselves to discover life purposes. There are countless stories in everyone’s life; however, there’s only one that matters, only one finally worth telling. We all come into this world with a purpose, what can sharpen our understanding of the relationship between life and meanings? Who cooks up our reality? What makes life more meaningful and purposeful? Taichung Happiers’ best friend Albert Einstein sought the roots of wholeness. “All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree. All these aspirations are directed toward ennobling man's life, lifting it from the sphere of mere physical existence and leading the individual towards freedom.” Life is risky; some things are uncontrollable. We haven’t always had the luxury of living our passion while fulfilling our life purposes. Nevertheless, life is like music. There are pictures in all kinds of music, once you stop to listen. Listen, please! The music is like doors opening, one after another. What strengthens our status, commits us weight? What are the decisive moments that you regard as the milestones of your life? What books have helped you discover your life purpose? What can inspire our confidence and creativity? Are we going in the direction we want to go? Life is full of suggestions; the secret is to know how to read them. Discovering life purpose is a journey, for which, no formula exists. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to join our host Nelson Lin in sharing some room for reflections and the legacy you want to leave.

A life is a life is a life. “If you think nobody cares whether you're alive, try missing a couple of payments.” Discovering our life purposes is a way of seeing, a voice inside. In order to see why we exist, we have to know how to look, and we have to know what we are looking at. German philosopher, poet, and literary critic Johann Gottfried Herder (August 25, 1744 - December 18, 1803) had the simple yet splendid structure of life purpose. “To think what is true, to sense what is beautiful and to want what is good, hereby the spirit finds purpose of a life in reason.” Life is all about vigorous use of time. Having the most intimate relationship with everyone’s life, time is the most sophisticated source we should care deeply about. Every moment is unique; no moment can ever be restated. That’s why we recommend risk-taking, living life to the fullest, seizing the day. Every day is a performance in one way or another. Then, why are we called to do what we are doing? Choosing the right culture relieves our tired minds. “God gave us the brain to work out problems. However, we use it to create more problems.” When people have the passion to glide high for something insane, it makes other problems seem more outspoken. Do our best of what we are doing and keep improving it, even if we don’t like it—we’ll get all kinds of ideas planted in our minds—and we’ll be able to establish our goals. It’s like a kind of dance that consists in surrounding and departing-- one step forward and one step back. Do we choose the right culture? Artists’ pursuit of purpose is the most uplifting. They have sticking points. Every life is made of inevitable highs and lows--happiness inspires our confidence. Happiness can improve our positive thinking and help assess our performance. Happiness couldn’t possibly be called anything other than a bridge between our internal and external worlds, between a real world and a life purpose. Life is like music, which shows us that we are not alone. “One must live, life’s so short. Vive la diff’erence!” After all, what must a person do but fulfill his/her destiny? Despite the differences, every life purpose lifts us up and lowers us down, only to raise us even higher. Choose to be yourself. Choose to live by your own values. Destiny is always around the corner, and it will grant us a second chance. Life is like music. Life is a study of deliberation; whatever we do well upon and think about accumulates and advances in our lives. Therefore, plant the seeds; change takes time. Be a builder; be the solution. Never forget that legacy exists so long as someone remembers it. Life is like music; mobility is reality. Layers, upon layers, combined, these make some authentic sense. So, what do you think of when your life seems to have more purposes? To what we have focused on—Happiers’ qualities of mind and spirit--a certain kind of appreciation remains in effect, in the end.
