Now, is all that getting upgraded? Is it possible that what seem like absurd alternatives are, absolutely, approaches developed long ago for treating other kinds of headaches? American linguist, philosopher, and historian, Noam Chomsky has revealed that "There are no magic answers, no miraculous methods to overcome the problems we face, just the familiar ones: honest search for understanding, education, organization, action that raises the cost of state violence for its perpetrators or that lays the basis for institutional change — and the kind of commitment that will persist despite the temptations of disillusionment, despite many failures and only limited successes, inspired by the hope of a brighter future" Additionally, in what context did you start perceiving the connection between human beings and places? What cities feed you, feed your soul? Which city makes you feel more vibrant than anywhere else you’ve ever lived? Now, we are in the key year of the unfolding for the human experiment for many reasons, considering ambiguous implications of the unfavorable events. This is a time to not let our souls doubt—who we are; what we can do. As we get together, the genuine goals are getting a way of letting our gentility and generosity shine through, and helping awaken others’. For this weekend, great to have three thrilling elements in this topic: History, City, and Photography. In every situation, every moment, what makes our inside sing? What makes us feel lighter and brighter? In every situation, every moment, history, city, and photography are writing two words in the air: Connection heals. History. City. Photography. When the camera turns dizzy, and it feels drunk... What really matters to us are people and experience. In other words, connection—the invisible tie--that’s the only thing. In truth, Taichung Happiers’ best friend Albert Einstein had given us new eyes as decent as historians’ and photographers’. “The world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.” History. History is more the memories of the survivors. There is a chain of individual responsibilities; yet, not a chain so long that everyone can simply blame everyone else. Hopefully, wherever you are, your city is wrapped in light, and a scent of anticipation and expectation will float in the air. Hopefully, the land of our dreams will expand without limits; it will be filled with more valuable and vigorous life.
