We want the breeze to embrace us. Can money unite past, present, and future? If yes, how? What color of money reaches your memory and returns you to childhood? What color of money has the radiating force to read your most private thoughts and most pushed-aside tastes? Have you ever wondered that despite of alternate routes, there is only one ending? Chance is the inner rhythm of everything; yet, the wandering chance might, or might not change entirety. American essayist, lecturer, philosopher, and poet Ralph Waldo Emerson (May 25, 1803 – April 27, 1882) featured the factual wind of fortune that drives us along. “There is always a reason, in the man, for his good or bad fortune in making money. Men talk as if there were some magic about this. He knows that all goes on the old road, pound for pound, cent for cent — for every effect a perfect cause — and that good luck is another name for tenacity of purpose.” Perhaps, it’s the opportunity to confirm ourselves that conjures us. Perhaps, we should look into the heart of substantial scenes and potent possibilities, as if there were something that we have to decode. The true trial is for our own transformation. Whatever the most important thing in your life is, happiness is all we have. We don’t envy the rich or have contempt for the poor. Money can melt images: memories, colors, views, security, freedom, reward… Money is a series of infinite chances, which sometimes result one way, and other times, another. Money reveals other things, parts of our emotions we cannot see without the light. It has to come from something--an understanding, a yearning. Knowing the new way of economy is more efficient; nevertheless, we still want to enfold the flexibility and nobility that we might have been leaving behind. Unfortunately, our dread thickens, as the Covid-19 tangles around the Globe. The indication lies not only in our tangible wealth but also in the symbolic value. Money is all about our chances and choices. What determines our choices? It is, purely, the condition of our souls--making difficult choices requires wisdom. American journalist, author and publisher George Horace Lorimer (October 6, 1867 – October 22, 1937) had the words—which are simple yet marvelously meaningful. “It's good to have money and the things money can buy, but it's good, too, to check up once in a while and make sure that you haven't lost the things that money can't buy.” We feel deeply.
