Last Saturday, I spent over 6hrs with my friends staying at the National Theater in Taipei for watching a unique Taiwan’s play “K24 Chaos”.
Based loosely on Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, K24 Chaos is set up as a play within a play and follows a kind of television format whereby a cliffhanger ends each episode. As post-modern style, "K24" seems to combine as many elements as possible-musical, spy, action, love story, TV serial, multimedia, transsexual, satire, geisha... etc.
I’d like to say it was FUN! I almost couldn't stop laughing and applauding after each punch line, even though it was a six-hour play!
During the humid weekend, it’s really great to enjoy a comedy!
