Practicing the idioms

Last night I was seeing a movie till midnight. I stayed up late for the exciting movie. Even though I was tired and felt sleepy, I insisted on seeing it over. I heard a yell from the bedroom, “Cyber, hit the hay immediately.” I didn’t respond to her. After a while, she seemed to fall asleep, and I kept seeing my movie. Until it had been ended up, I turned in. when I was going to drop off, she began to make noise. She was snoring louder and louder. That made me impossible to get to sleep. I gave her a push. She stopped to start to talk in her sleep. I gave her another push and said to her, “Have a good night!” she ceased. Finally, I entirely shut down.

It’s another busy day today. When it was about to be off work, my boss requested me to attend a meeting. It was a boring meeting for hours. In the meeting, I caught my coworker Jason napping and I also felt drowsy. I begin getting a little shut-eye, and then I couldn’t help taking forty winks. Oh my goodness, I couldn’t remain awake. I had better……. I needed to take a sleep……. A second later, did I really catch some Z’s or am I dozing off? Suddenly, I heard a bang. It sounded like a thunder. No, it sounded like my boss banging on the table as he is angry at someone as usual. I opened my eyes in a hurry. He is right in front of my nose. He said, “Cyber, where is my question?” I woke up in terrible fright. My whole body was sweating and my underpants were humid. I looked at my watch. It’s six o’clock in the morning.

After experiencing this event, I advise all of us should keep regular hours. Don’t have a late night even if you are a night person.

Wish you sweet dreams!
Cyber.
