According to 2012 winter conference in Tainan, we are going to hold our biannual in house speech contest. The official registered members in Taichung can sign up below to reply to this announcement and join in house speech contest in Taichung on 25th May.

The winner of in house speech contest in Taichung will get 2000NT supported by anonymous members and represent Taichung Happy English Club to compete the trophy of national speech contest in Taipei on 8th June.

The in-house speech contest will be postponed one week to June 1st.

Dear Taichung Happiers,

We are going to have an in house speech contest on 6/1. The article discussion will be canceled for one time but we still have free talk session from 2:30PM to 4:00PM. You don’t need to take your own prints of article but just come to join us.

We will follow the principle of one man one vote policy criterion to choose the winner among the participants. Each member or guest of Taichung Happy English can select their favorite speaker. The winner would be the one who get the highest score in the contest.

Our Jeffrey will sponsor gifts for each speaker in the contest. Each participant should be rewarded for working hard in preparation. The winner of in house speech contest in Taichung will get 2000NT supported by anonymous members.

Our former President, Tzong will also give the representative of Taichung a crash course on how to be an excellent English speaker. Of course, our winner will represent Taichung Happy English Club to compete the trophy of national speech contest in Taipei on 8th June.
