Different from the average quotes, some characteritics of slogans are rhyming, catchy, easy to remember, core value ...
But I find it difficult to have everything rolled into one.
I'm going all out anyway...

Personally I think the slogan should convey a sentiment beyond the name of this club. The point is not to be redundant ,over-positive or delusional.

The nominees for Golden Kuso Awards are:

(1) AT AHPPY, YOU EITHER WRITE SOMETHING FOR US TO THINK ABOUT;
OR YOU SAY SOMETHING FOR US TO QUICKLY FORGET ABOUT. (Every time I heard something told "in English", it just can't stick in my mind. Actually, it goes in one ear and out the other.><)



(2) PEOPLE COME PEOPLE GO. PICK A WIFE BEFORE YOU GO.


(3) IT TAKES TWO TO TANGLE; IT TAKES A GROUP TO MINGLE; WE'LL GET YOU OUT OF SINGLE.



(4) SILLY BILLY! COME TO HAPPY! COST LITTLE MONEY! MEET YOUR HONEY!!



(5) THINK DIRTILY_TALK LOCALLY_BEHAVE GROSSLY



(6) TOGETER, WE MEET ; FOREVER, WE EAT.



(7) TIDE COMES IN, TIDE GOES OUT ; IF YOU DROPS IN, I'LL HURRY OUT. (Uh-oh, bumping into one of the exes)

For cyber viewers, and potential judges and voters,
All the corporate's slogans contain some of these factors and characteristics:

A.Company name/Brand name
B. Core value / Prospect / Spirit
C. Target for a campaign / a product
D. Rhyming,
E. Catchy, easy to remember
F. Play on word

Let's have a look at some well-known and popularly chanted corporate's slogans.
Off the top of my head, these slogans cross my mind:
(If a slogan never strikes you, it can't be a successful one.)

1. NOKIA, CONNECTING PEOPLE. (A+B+F)
2. NOKIA始終相信‧科技始終來自於人性。 　(A+B+E+F)
3. STUDIO CLASSROOM-YOUR WINDOW ON THE WORLD. (A+B+F)
4. STUDIO CLASSROOM-A FRIEND FOR LIFE. (A+B+f)
5. 長頸鹿美語-EASY ENGLISH. (A+B+F)
6. I'M LOVIN' IT. (B+D+F) (You don't need the "brand name" in it if your company/organization is as succesful as McDonal's.)
7.麥當勞~都是為你 。( A+B+E) (McDonal's previous slogan also involves its brand name.)
8. 華碩品質‧堅若磐石。 (A+B+D+E)
9. PANASONIC, IDEAS FOR LIFE. (A+B+E)
10. HAPPY SANYO. (A+B+E)

Corporations and enterprises wouldn't miss any opportunity to present their "brand name" for the world. Would anyone of them consider THEIR OWN "BRAND NAME" as being " redundant " in the slogan they pay through the nose for?? Unless you subconsciously loathe your own brand, which I've never heard of. Think twice.

Go ahead and leave out your "brand name", if you don't want/need your target group to remember your "brand name", or when the "brand name" doesn't even matter in the campaign. e.g.:

1. 十次車禍九次快(C+E)
2. 醉不上道 (C+E+F))
3. STD(sexually transmitted disease)-You Never Know Who Might Have It.(C+E)
4. 防護做得好‧性病沒煩惱(C+E+F):cry:
5. 六分鐘‧護一生‧(C+E)

"Just Another Saturday in an English Learning Paradise!"

"Be ready for the feeling that you are not in Chinese speaking environment any more."
