Summer Joint Outing on June 14th:On Sunday morning, a bunch of friends got together in front of the Chi-Mei Museum. Then, in this pure white, and dream-like building, our feelings of exciting, curiosity, and novelty turned out to be absorbed in a knowledgeable and artistic atmosphere. The experience we had was too fantastic to be felt ture. Eventually, we saw very comprehensive collections of Western art, galleries, sculptures, musical instruments, weaponry and natural history. Since there were too many items in different kinds of exhibition, we cannot appreciate all of them in just a morning. We must leave rest of them to watch next time.
At the noon time, we ended the outing and said good bye. Those friends from Taipei, Taoyuan, and Kaohsiung decided to go on their trip to seek delicacy and delightful time of Tainan.
After that, I enjoyed a bowl of “福建麵“ alone at an eatery which is in my ”口袋名單“. While I savor a delicious“棕子”from the eatery, those friends on their culinary Journey sent me a picture and said they were having “杏仁豆腐冰” and “鍋燒意麵”. Yes，they are famous and so called “台南小吃”. But I just gave them a slight smile and reply “ Please keep going the 觀光客的修行. Hope someday you guys can advance to 美食客 and can do the 巷戰 as 內行人!
Don’t forget these good foods, good friends, and good time in this outing of Tainan. We are looking forward to seeing you guys in the next joint outing of HEC.
