here is the itinerary for Yilan outing

Itinerary
day1.12/6, 2008
9:00 get gather at Taipei Main StationGate South 3 南3門
9:15 move to Yi-lan
11:30 Have lunch on the way to Mt 太平
16:00 move to our hotel
17:30 move to Lo-dong or Yilan night market for dinner
20:00 back to hotel and have hot spring.

day2 12/7 2008
5:40 wake up and have breakfast
6:10 move to Yilan sports park
6:30 check in for group B(half marathon)
7:00 start running for group B
7:10 check in for group c (easy run 10km)
7:00 start running for group C & D
10:00 move to hotel and take a shower
12:00 Victory meeting at seafood restaurant
14:00 Back to Taipei

Equipment:
swimsuit (for hot spring) sun cream

I just wonder why we will need to bring Sleeping bags for Yilan outing as we plan to sleep in the hotel.

Is that hotel very special ?

Dear all
Sorry for replying you late.
The reason why we need sleeping bag is because we booked 3 family rooms with 6 double beds here

Because our budget is tight, and they are apparently not enough for all of us to sleep in the bed,
so we plan to let all ladies share 4 double bed and some boys sleep in the bed others sleep on the floors.
That's why we needs sleeping bag, and actually we only need 5~6 sleeping bags.
After discussed with Benjamin, He will try to book another room or ask the hotel to provide us pillows and blankets.
Specially thanks to Benjamin, he really helps us a lot on looking for accommodation and restaurant,
we have a lot discount and benefit on accommodation.
Don't forget to show your appreciation to him.

After I bargained with my student's parents owning the hotel of 4 rooms, we all can sleep on the beds. Of course, we don't need to bring sleeping bags, but bringing a coat along from the cold weather would be suggested.

I enjoyed this trip very much. Although it was a pity that we were unable to see the beautifu scenic in Mr. 太平 because of the heavy fog, we were lucky to see frost on the plants and I really love the atmosphere when we were getting together. I especially like the delicacies that Benjamin introduced to us.

It's really a "UNForgettable" outing. Nice trip in Yilan and first time to finish half Marathon.

I enjoyed the time in Yilan and with you guys.

However, if we can stay in 太平山 one night or a little longer, that would be great. Mabye we can have the outing - "trip in 太平山" sometime in Spring next year.

I will upload the photos I took later.
