Dear Taichung Happiers,

How long haven’t you work out on the weekend? We going to hold our biannual outing activities in 大坑 and 新社花海節 on 12/01. Our Jeffrey would lead us hiking through the most scenic trails in大坑 mountain.

Anyone who wants to join our outing activities please mail me at saowyu@yahoo.com.tw. Or you also leave a simple message on our happy forum. We need one or two cars that will take our members to 東山路經補路停車場. If anyone is willing to be our driver for outing activities, please also leave a message on the forum. And each driver is reimbursed for 500NT for mileage expense.

At 7:30 AM on Saturday 12/01, we will gather at 台中市東山路經補庫停車場. And we will take 30 minutes bus to our starting point. So we need to take a few coins or easy card for bus fares.

We have two hiking routes one is challenging and the other one is easier. The route 1 is tough and time costing but you can see the most beautiful scenery along the log trail 4 and 5. It takes 6 hours to reach theme pavilion. So we don’t have too much time to enjoy the flower exhibition. The route 2 is easier but the view is plain. We will hit log trail #4 and all the way to 頭科山 which you will have the best view at 太平, 台中, 潭子, and 豐原. After the short stay we will hike the normal way to our destination. Then we will enjoy the flower festival. And 新社花海節 is open for public and without paying any charge.

It takes 4 ~ 6 hours to reach our destination. So you need to prepare your lunch and at least one liter of drinking water. Exhibition organizer provide commute shuttle to picks in theme pavilion and discharge passengers at台中市東山路經補庫停車場.

We will cancel the activities if the weather is rainy in the morning. If the probability of precipitation is high on the outing date we will also cancel the activities.

As usual, our regular gathering on December 1 would be cancel due to outing event.

本梯次活動設計仍維持原有中橫健行之行程設定與各項活動安排，除歡迎青年朋友報名參加外，為鼓勵家庭成員間彼此情感交流及互動，將特別歡迎家長攜帶子女或子女陪同家長報名參與（唯報名之前請考量自身健康與體力負荷等狀況），本次活動期望能透過中橫健行來為參與夥伴們創造獨特且難忘的「中橫回憶」。

This is Kevin. Until to now, we have Bill, Harris and two or three of Harris's friends, Tzong and Tzong's girlfriend, Kevin, Joey, and Jeffrey. And Fiona will let me know her final decision by Thursday. So we have 9 to 11 people to join our workouts and flora festival on 12/1. We also provide carpooling service for those who want to on board near downtown Taichung city. Kevin will give each participant a call by Friday and arrange the way of transportation to our gathering point, 台中市東山路經補庫停車場 at 7:30 AM. Anyone who likes to join us can leave a message on the forum. Or you can send me an email via saowyu@yahoo.com.tw. And you would be served by the designated person, Kevin himself. ^^

Due to activities, our regular gathering on 12/1 would be cancelled for one time.

Weather forecast shows rainy day will continue all week long. For our members’ safety, I am so sorry to tell Taichung Happiers that we need to cancel the activities this saturday, 12/01.

There is also no regular gathering at MOS burger this weekend.
