I post my speech script as below and share with you guys ,
It's already been edited by s.b. , and I make them shorter in 10/7 ,
because we didn't have enough time ... haha ...
I hope you guys can enjoy it !

Hey everybody,
since I promised myself I would be an ice-breaker in this club,
I keep thinking about what I should, and what I want, to say,
and because there’re lots of people who did a great job before,
each of you makes me very nervous.
How can I make a wonderful speech here and what else I can do for you guys?
I really had no ideas, so I decided to talk about myself , my major in school.
I think it may be an unusual experience around your life .

I graduated from National Cheng-chi University with a bachelor degree in Sociology.
I also took a lot of courses in Social Work,
not such a popular subject in Taiwan, but more common overseas.
You must have heard of Max Weber, and Karl Marx before.
They were both Germans and also two of the most famous sociologists in history.
We often heard these names from some books and subjects,
such as economy or politics, which are actually related to sociology.
However sociologists touch the world with a macro point of view, not only focusing on a specific area.
I believe that’s what makes sociology different.
Sociology is a word combined from socio- and -logy,
simply speaking, it’s the study of society.

Sociology deas with the world around us,
anything you can imagine could be the points,
such as different racial issues, demography, like sex, age,
living standards and income, social stratum, different relationships,
and even religious beliefs.
These are all within the subject of sociological concerns.

I take more lessons in social work than in sociology,
it is concerned more with human beings than social structures,
especially human behavior and the social environment.
It looks at the balance of both sides;
the social welfare system from government and the non-profit organizations.
We focus on different groups with different solutions.
We deal with many different groups such as the elderly,
homeless children, women, low-income classes, and people with handicaps.
We like to say that social works stretches from cradle to grave.
