The advantage of typing is fast to record ideas and easy to share with your friends and coworkers. However some ideas are not easy to record by words and need to draw pictures to explain. All of us agree that writing is a good way to activate brain and stimulate us to compose faster. But sometimes typing will let you feel freely to think like the movie “Finding Forrester” shows. While composing, you can release yourself and type any idea flying through your mind and just type it. Then you can purify the words and ideas after typing. In this way, typing is good way to compose. So I think we cannot directly judge which one is better.
