After the meeting, our new guest Terrence told me that Taichung Happiers are unexpectedly friendly to him so that he really enjoyed the atmosphere of our gathering. Well, his comment sounds very encouraging!
Today’s topic is about books. Just as there is more than one way to love people, so is there more than one way to love books. Kevin thinks we should show our respect to books by not tearing off them to carry lighter, no matter how big volumes they are. Harris likes to share some thoughtful quotations with his colleagues. Interestingly enough, David now hates books simply because he studied too hard in high school! At least, David is brave and honest enough to admit it, isn’t he?
When we found that our comic book collections were threw away by our parents, we realized that our childhood came to a close. Bitter sweet, hum…? However, here is a book list highly recommended by Taichung Happiers:
Kevin: 富爸爸窮爸爸
David: World History
Harris: 做自己與別人生命中的天使
Terrence: Catcher in the Rye
Jasmine: English Audio Books:

We are what we read! I am deeply moved by Taichung Happiers’ strong personality and strong opinions. Thanks again to Happy English Club!
