There’s a CSI scenario in Mos Burger this afternoon: Joey “hunts” (kidnaps, actually) Jason to join our discussion! It is, without a doubt, another great day at Happy English Club. We also have Justin’s friend Craig and Anita’s friend Meg with us. Needless to say, our mutual obsession with English makes us happily bond together.
Everybody likes today’s topic and Bill’s cookies. Most Taichung Happiers have found great satisfaction in life. We voice our thoughts and propose resolutions: Jason’s “Smile has magic power”, Edward’s “Blue is happy”, Terrence’s “Jogging makes people happy”, and Justin’s “Focus on what you have, instead of what you don’t have”. Personally, I firmly believe that the more gratitude you express, the more inner peace you’ll have.
It is impossible not to thanks to Joey again. He is not only a great “hunter”, but also an extraordinarily kind “firefighter”. In fact, a new job training keeps Peter( our original host) from hosting today’s gathering. Last Wednesday, Joey said “All Right!” without any hesitation when I asked him to volunteer on this. His kindness humbles us! All I want to say now is: Surrounded by such a group of angels, nothing more can we ask for!
