We had two guests and seven members to join the gathering. In the free talking section, I learned one concept “ American taxpayer is a boss and the boss should get service” .
The speaker Andy shared a book “Admiring your children(賞識你的小孩)” with us. The author told us that adults shouldn’t use their thoughts to define your children, and the score in the school doesn’t mean everything. Adults should try to appreciate their children different values and abilities.
The article is about how to build the habit of reading books. Someone think reading is important because it can improve your imagination and it’s two way communication. Someone think if we compare the price that watching movie or TV it’s more valuable than reading books. It’s quiet interesting thinking.
