We discussed brand and competition last week. Samsung is a formidable competitor to Taiwanese company. They copy distinguishing feature form competitor and push it to the limit. “That is copy and conquer policy” the president of ASUS, Jonney Shih said. DRAM, LCD and smart phone industries in Taiwan have a hard time over the past ten years.
We also discussed why Samsung makes a fortune in those industries. “Korean government provides a huge support to local company,” some said. “Samsung have all-in-one manufacturing system,” others said. “They are just lucky,” the others said.
To my surprise, we have four guests, Rae, Marina, Flora and Tina joining our gathering this week. And our president brought some German jelly drops to share with us. We do have a good time.

Best Regards, Kevin
