The day, our discussion topic was about parenting. Two single men and I (a mother) vigorously exchanged our idea and shared valuable thoughts throughout our lifelong experiences. In summary our opinions can be concluded in two points.
1. Children are not born self-motivated. Certain amount of push can help them achieve higher goals.
2. We see children as independent individuals. Despite of item 1, we would like our children to explore the world with their own desire and lead a life of what they think is the best for them.
The meeting was proceed in a very musical atmosphere. Neighboring room was having a ukulele recital, which was a great treat for us, a great way to end the year....
