The sky was clear and the moon was extra bright this day. Suddenly, a deafening sound roam into the ears and the scent of gun powder filled up the air. What is going on? Are we at war? Why is there so many bright sparkles on the sky? Wait a minute, is that chicken I smell? If you haven’t been wondering already, yes, this is not a Happy English gathering. This is how I spent my mid autumn festival day. Sounds like an epic story, huh? Don’t’ worry; the only casualty of the day is the chicken. Bless it.

To my surprise, lots of people showed up for the gathering this day. We were fascinated by various stories on how the festival come about. We also learned that the moon will get farther and farther away from us and it will always look the same because it rotates on the same face. Thanks everyone for coming by and to share their holiday experience with us.

Cheers,
Edward
