Playing a musical instrument makes you brainier

Life is composed of various elements, and music is definitely one of the essential parts, which makes our life cheerful, soulful and lighthearted. If we can advance ourselves from music listeners to the players of musical instruments, it will gradually and miraculously change us in many ways.

According to the research, playing a wind instrument has all the benefits of all types of musical instruments (including stringed instruments, percussion instruments, keyboard instruments...). Not only can it help exercise your face, mouth, tongue and two hands, but it increases lung volumes (capacities) by using abdominal breathing to inhale and exhale, which is similar to practicing Qigong. In addition to health advantages, it also help develop and activate right brains that control long-term memory; therefore, it can significantly improve the ability of picking up a foreign language.

Life is a balancing act. Knowing how to evaluate all your options to achieve balance needs to use both your left brains and right brains at the same time to think. According to the research, the ones who tend to use only left brains to think easily feel unhappy. If you intend to be a person with sound mind and body, who can deal with problems and people with higher flexibility, EQ and IQ, then keeping playing a musical instrument is an excellent way to transform yourself.
