Today, we had a surprising friend, Benjamin, the first president in KHEC, sharing his experience with all of us. As for his hobby, he likes to put up the model like aircrafts, anime figures, etc in his leisure time. Of course, Peggy brought his classmate in Open University, Vanghan to today’s meeting. His statements and inquiries added spice to today’s topic as well.
Today’s topic is about you can’t live without 40 Taiwanese foods. Thanks to Betty’s profession in the food trade, she contributed lots of information to this discussion. Shuni and Jenny talked a lot about their favorites and dislikes. What’s missing on this delicious Taiwanese list? Just to name it a few---Meat bao, Pork knuckle, fried kidney with sesame oil, ice smoothies, rice dumplings, and all-you-can-eat restaurant. As to the fried chicken, we do not totally agree with Hot-Star Large one crispy and juicy, but other brand may be better than it. Last but not least, Food stores that are always queuing are worth a try all over Kaohsiung city. I think small eats are big things in Taiwan where the philosophy is eat often and eat well.
