Dear Taichung Happiers:
Happiness never decreases, when we share it with other people. I am glad that we have 15 members joining our gathering in 8/10 to share the secrets how they get happiness.
Thanks to Jeffery who talks about a lot of his traveling experiences to the Middle East and Southern Asia. Jeffery has been many countries, including Iran, Israel, India, Nepal and Afghanistan. He introduced many his observations in these countries. The special shop that he talked about also attracted the attention of all members. We rarely have the chance to go into the shop due to its expensive consumption.
We have one new member Nicole who is an English teacher. She spoke English very well.
In session 2, we split into two groups to discuss our article “7 Secretes to Happiness”.
In our discussion group, many members talked about the importance of true friends or core friends. When we are in bad mood, it’s a good way to transform our emotion if we can find some good friends to talk with. One member talked about being patient and waiting a while, and just letting the bad mood go away naturally.
Almost every member agreed that enough money will make us happier. One member asked a question -- “What amount of money is enough for you? ”. Of course, it depends on different kind of situations and is difficult to answer. Another member, cleverly in different view, redefined the question to “What amount of money isn’t enough for you? ”.
Of course, there are not just only 7 secrets of how to get happiness. Here are some contributions of members: positive thinking, more communication with others, and lowering our expectations. And what is yours?
Thanks to every member for your precious opinion in discussion that greatly enlarge our thoughts to see things differently.
Especially thanks to Jasmine for giving me the opportunity to be a host that I have never been before.
