Dear Happiers,
In the 1st section, Laura and Joyce shared traveling experience of Australia & Singapore. They are so impressive that diversified population makes Singapore more international compared to Taiwan, and Singapore government is very aggressive to attract excellent talents to work in Singapore in order to improve local competitiveness. And, John shares interesting on-line experience with partners, and all of us were really excited for his story.
For the 2nd section, we are so lucky to have Carol with us, and she is professional Human Resource officer. We can further understand Supervisor's viewpoint, which maybe opposite to employees' thought.
Due to Taiwanese Culture tradition, we seem to hesitate to negotiate salary/package/welfare with supervisor. But, in China, it is really common to communicate with Supervisor that my expectation for monthly salary increase.
Generally speaking, we have better clearly understand our supervisor's style, and carefully reckon how to communicate with our managers appropriately in order to get win-win response.
