Dear Taichung Happiers,

How can we keep a witch away? Halloween is such a holiday enriched with its playful nature, which persuades people to indulge in ingenuity and imagination. On this past weekend, Happiers were incredibly excited about the magic of our Halloween Mirror, the psychological quiz, which discovered and displayed the upsides of Taichung Happiers’ personality.
Kevin: Generous and Moral
Jane: Perceptive and Philosophical
Troy: Happy and Unflappable
Justin: Self-assured and In charge
Nathan: Happy and Unflappable
Nelson: Happy and Unflappable
Elyse: Generous and Moral
Bob: Kind and Sensitive
Jasmine: Mystery

Wondering about “Pumpkin Consequences” at first, we then came up with producing the result of the collective writing experiment and enjoying the fun made through it. After everyone hunted for a word or a line, we folded the paper and passed it to another member to write on. Under this circumstance, we didn’t know what other members would write on the paper. Few minutes later, we collaboratively created some stories, according to the 10 simple segments Happiers had composed. Here is one of them:
“A handsome man named Bill Gate met a round lady, Lady GaGa, in the campus. He gave her a nuclear weapon, and asked her ‘Will you let me marry your Mom?’ She replied:’ Why? How?’ The consequence was they became good friends, and the world said ‘It will help a lot of people.’”

Special thanks to our guest Troy, who is a medical student at Chung Shan Medical University, for explaining the medical terms in this week’s article; now we have a better understanding of the fear emotion. “Where there is no imagination, there is no horror.” Arthur Conan Doyle, best known as the author of Sherlock Holmes detective stories, emphasized. So, in the windy (but not so creepy) Halloween evening, what will be your best choice to read?
“Street Haunting” is highly recommended: http://zh.scribd.com/doc/3536132/Street-Haunting-Virginia-Woolf , or you might prefer “The Detested Radishark”:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78U5NG5Sn1k
“In the middle of the ocean,
In the deep deep dark,
……………………………………”
Still need a stronger web to guard ourselves first? All right, here we are:

"The Science Of Conquering Your Fears -- And Living A More Courageous Life" http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/15/conquering-fear_n_3909020.html

As always, thank you all for coming. Also, Kevin’s perfect co-hosting job is greatly appreciated. Happiers do have a personality to lure us on and on. Due to the time limitation, some Halloween games were unfinished. We could otherwise try the “Skeleton Dance” together.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onCAhfzCFtA
