We are all studying English. I'm sure some of the guys here can answer almost all the questions and give you a lot of advice. But it depends on what kind of advice you want. For example, if you are a college student and you never use an English-English dictionary, I would suggest you to get one. Collins Cobuild is good. But if you are a senior high school student at your first year, that would not be a good suggestion.

Tell us more about your background and what you're learning English for, and we can trade more information.

last year i graduated from chongqing universirty ,and in shenzhen now .i work with plato corporation ,maybe you have heard of the company Unimicron ,it's in taiwan ,our mother company .

What's your company's name in Chinese? Sorry, I don't know that name by English. What do you do in your company? Do you use a lot of English at your work?
This is an English study club founded by Happy (Happy is this handsome guy's name, not a dog's). And the members of this club meet every Saturday in Taipei for practising English. I'm also a new member here so I'm just exploring this place like you. By the way, can you tell us more about Chongqing or Shenzhen? Which one do you like better? Many students go to universities in Chongging? I'm so curious about the mainland.
It's very nice to have a friend like you from China.

i am a buyer in our company.its chinese name is 柏拉圖 ,the mother company's name is 欣興電子.and it's not need to use english in my work .because i like english want to practise it .and my major is not english too.
considering the two cities ,i both like .but shenzhen is more beautiful than chongqing .but how many students in the university ,and i can say it is difficult to count ,you kown there are many universities in this city .there are so many delicious food ,they are worthable ,but there are many hot pepper ,maybe you don't like .but this city is famous of it .and the weather is too hot to bear .

Touch English slowly when the work, and need to contact customer
I must use the translation sofeware to help me

Please give me advice

No problem,Terry. I think we can learn things from each other's experience. As for English, I benefit a lot from watching TV series, like Friends or Lost. At first I found it very difficult to enjoy it. But after several weeks it became easier and I can understand most of the stories. I guess you may try that, too.
