How about:

postnatal care
postpartum care

In traditional habits, a woman is forbidden to go outdoors after giving a birth. It looks much like confinement or imprisonment for 30 days. Therefore, I think "postnatal confinement" or "postpartum confinement" is also a good expression of this Chinese term.

Earlier I pointed out a phrase "in confinement",which is based on a Chinese-English dictionary. Obviously it doesn't refer to the"postnatal" condition but it is acceptable. Meanwhile, I'd say both "postnatal care" and "postpartum care" are good translation, but, personally, I prefer to use "postnatal confinement" and "postpartum confinement".

By the way, I found another expression to describe "postnatal confinement" / "postpartum confinement" . On a medical bulletin, a more "Chinese" way to say it is "doing the month" (confinement and covalesence of Chinese womwn after childbirth/confining at home, taking nutricious food and avoid undue exertion).

Perhaps this is Hongkongese English and not found in American or British English due to cultural reasons, but I'd very much like to introduce this term ("doing the month") to the native speakers.

Yes, we need to introduce "doing the month" to the native speakers first, as they won't understand it without further explanation. It can be taken as Chinese slang.
