how to say "外遇"

"外遇" is based on the marriage.

yeah, it basically means having a special relationship with another person out of your marriage.

As I know, for "外遇" you can say "extramarital afair"

I would like to add two more words to this category:

infidelity

adultery

Another expression is two-timing. It is not necessarily related to marriage only.

two-timing (n.)
two-time (v.)

Bill two-timed with his girlfriend's colleague.
