As you can see we have Ice Breaker every week, and it's necessary to prepare either for Ice Breaker or any English Speech in advance. I herewith provide some tips for everybody reference, hope it will help you to have good Ice Breaker or any English Speech w/o nervous if prepared well in advance:
1.First reads fluently the manuscript character, and understand the meaning of content (you must know what you will say, right ?). And mark with symbol on the words to remind yourself which part shold raise your tone with emphasis.
2.Then takes down your sound, listens to your own pronunciation, listens to situation and sentiment which inside the oneself sound expresses, moreover, the tape recorder puts far more is better, trains the volume which you speaks (take the tape recorder regards as audience's ear, the lecture must let the audience hear clearly). Then listen to your sound to pretend you are the audience, find the problem and it should be satisfied by your speech in advance~)
3. If you feared pronunciation was far away from the native speaker, then you may take the lecture notes to someone whose pronunciation is good or find foreigners to help you to rectify your pronunciation, (certainly can look for foreigner is best). Must say with you, do not have to fear own pronunciation are strange, actually the foreigner speaks also has very many kind of tune.. We only imitate as far as possible.. Do not let the pronunciation question affect your self-confident oh ~~
4. Practicing in front of the mirror, if you well done the pronunciation practice in advance, then your expression naturally has revealed 50~60% confident in front of the mirror . Look at yourself in the mirror, and think which expression lecture content only then could make the lecture alively , and could let the lecture content with any movement be clearer . And, if possible, practice before your family members, they can correct the mistake for your further suggestion. That will make you with more confident oh...
