“It’s like a WOW!” I told myself when I finished the gathering. Despite that Steve Jobs is not everyone’s hero, critical thinking and creative ideas can be tracked while every member speaking during the discussion. That satisfies my curiosity about many themes.
If we were shareholders of Apple, Edward would focus on Apple’s future strategy and Tom would do some satisfaction survey. Both Kevin and Larry think that as long as Apple can leverage the relationship between products, customers and shareholders, Apple with or without Jobs would always be secondary for their brand loyalty. Moreover, employees and customers are keen on keeping growing by following a superstar CEO. Nevertheless, it’s never too early to prepare for a successor, otherwise a superstar CEO will never be able to retire. That’s why a famous professor has been helping 郭台銘 to record and analyze his every decision-making process and document it for the future-successor training.
It’s amazing to discover that Kevin is so well-informed of Tim Cook’s contributions for Apple. However, if Tzong were Cook, he would buy Facebook to make Apple more than Apple. He dreams bigger, much bigger, indeed!
Thanks for everyone’s contribution of time and efforts. And special thanks to David for being the host of Table 2. The best decision I made in 2010 was to join this Club. Every time I can see every member shine in their own way. WOW again, for Happy English Club!!!
