Dealing With Culture Shock

Questions for Discussion:
1. Have you experienced any culture shock in any other country or city in Taiwan? Where and how?
2. Which culture shock you have met that you can’t stand it the most? How do you deal with it?
3. There is a visitor gave his response to the article. He said, “Every foreigner in Taiwan has a specific status in Taiwanese society, just like the Taiwanese themselves. The Taiwanese classify you by race, skin color, language, purpose of coming to Taiwan, job, education level, being able to speak Chinese or not, looks and so on.” Is that only happened in Taiwan or also it happens in other country?
4. What else we have to be careful in certain countries you have been to? Please share with us.
